Hanging out in Canggu, Bali

by oneluckydad
Our first week in Canggu, Bali has been great. We spent the first couple days just getting settled into our place in Canggu. Since we’re going to be here a month, we rented a house on AirBnB so we can make it our own for awhile. We also rented a moped for the month, which lets us be very mobile. Oh, and we’ve been going grocery shopping and cooking. That has been awesome. Lots of rice and veggies, as well as tuna sashimi and mahi mahi fillets. Less than $2.00 USD for an amazing slab of tuna sashimi… yes please!
- Eating at home in Canggu, Bali. Tuna sashimi, ginger rice, and some veggies.
- Freya munching on a sandy apple at Old Man’s Beach in Canggu, Bali.
- The blues are bluer, the greens are greener, the clouds are still white… Canggu, Bali.
- Rented a moped for the month in Bali… a definite ‘must’ if you want to be mobile in Bali. Oh, and the surf rack doubles as a stroller rack. Bonus!
I apologize for the brevity of this post. I assure you there is more to come on Bali, but for now, check out our everyday morning commute. We’re just up the road from Old Man’s Beach in Canggu, Bali. If you can’t reach us, we’re out surfing this month.
Sounds fun man, my wife’s parents used to have a place in Canggu that we would visit every other year. Uluwatu for the kecak, dinner on jimbaran Beach and hanging at Echo Beach(coldest Bintang on the island) are some cool activities we always enjoyed. Have a great time bud and take care:)
Cheers! Thanks for the tips Jake. We’ll check out those spots.
We had an amazing seafood lunch at Jimbaran Beach last week. High recommend!
